Equivalent Groups allow you to tie bonus sizes to the regular size item, so you don’t end up with too many of an item on the shelf. If you use equivalent groups, when you create a Purchase Order, the PO application can consider the total on-hand quantity for all of the items in an equivalent group (usually 2 items).
