Did you know... there is a new Coupon Eligibility field in Item Editor?

In Item Editor, an option is available called ‘Coupons Allowed’. If it is on (which is by default), the item in question can have Store Coupons and applicable Manufacturer Coupons attached to it. If it is off, the item cannot have coupons attached to it. This allows stores to ensure that specific items do not have their prices further reduced by coupons.

This works in the following manner in the till:

When coupons are attached to a transaction when there are no items in the transaction eligible for coupons, a message will display indicating that coupons are not currently allowed in the transaction.

When a coupon is attached with a price that would apply to more than the maximum eligible amount in the transaction, a message will display indicating that the coupon exceeds the maximum eligible amount and displays the maximum amount. For example, if the transaction contains an item worth $2.50 and a coupon for $3.00 is entered, the message will indicate that the coupon exceeds the maximum eligible amount of $2.50.
