Corey Brannon

Senior Support Technician

About Corey

For better or worse, I don't really remember a time when I wasn't ‘working’ in some capacity or another. During the 'Wonder' years, I mowed lawns and worked for my grandparents in a couple of their smaller independently-owned businesses; a restaurant (Camp 7 Grill and Pizza), a gas station, and a mercantile (Brannon’s Grocery). It was then, while serving coffee to the loggers and millworkers (around age 9 or 10), that I discovered the importance of small businesses and their effect(s) on the community around them. How, with the proper management and charisma, a place that starts out as just 'the store' can, over time, evolve into a local landmark and/or institution. The lessons learned there I carry with me to work every day.  Informing every decision I make and motivating me to help our customers, help their l customers, which in turn, helps their communities.

In regard to my professional/tech experience, I rode the ‘Oregon Trail’ through the 90’s until finding myself enamored (as we all eventually would be) by the prospect of downloading music, from the internet, for the first time ever (ha)…’Napster’ anyone? I honestly, like most everyone else, have not taken my eyes off of a computer screen since.

To survive, I DJ’d Homecomings, worked in construction, played Line Cook, did some telecommunications support, and worked as an (assistant) manager at a local theater, all before finally settling down with Retail Management Solutions. For the first 13 years I worked as a Support tech before eventually becoming a Senior Technician. From there I branched out a bit, assisting with the production of RMS ‘CLIMB' and working primarily as a CC conversion specialist. In 2022, I switched gears and moved into the Hardware/Production department, now handling warranty claims, hardware repairs, and the shipping/receiving of new/replacement orders.

As of 2025, I am happier than ever, now married to a 4th degree Tae Kwon Do Master and working to create own Music/Movie review show/Podcast, 'Undead Heir.' Not sure of the exact destination moving forward, but if history serves, I'm sure it will be in an upward trajectory... which is nice."
