About Brandon
In 2002, after accepting the very generous Mary Baker Russell music scholarship, I moved to Tacoma, WA to study music education and performance at Pacific Lutheran University (Attaway Lutes!). I refocused my studies from music to computer science to (finally) Information Systems Management, a Business Administration concentration. In March 2005, I left my job as the PLU Bookstore Webmaster to participate in an internship at Retail Management Solutions. After graduating in 2006, I joined RMS team as a full-time employee.
Over the last 20 years at RMS, I’ve migrated from an intern position to Production Specialist, to Implementation Manager, to Director of Operations. Today, my day-to-day role keeps me fully engaged as I work with our Support and Training teams to strengthen the customer experience. As part of the senior leadership team, I'm proud to have helped guide RMS through numerous periods of growth and transformation. I'm continually focused on building alignment across teams and ensuring we're equipped for the challenges ahead. Most of all, I'm excited by the opportunity to continue contributing to a company that's always evolving toward its next chapter.
In my free time, I try to be outdoors as much as possible. Long distance cycling and backpacking have become my go-to workouts/hobbies. Over the last few years, I've added dual sport motor cycling and (amateur) mountaineering to the mix. My super rad wife Jenny is always ready to lead the next family adventure, especially if it includes our beautiful baby, Bebop (who some of you might remember as a co-host of our live CLIMB webinar series!)
I’m always excited for a new challenge, but when my lazy bones are acting up, I definitely make room for some video game time too. (Recently, I've proudly joined the ranks of other elite Elden Ringers who've obtained 100% of the available achievements. IYKYK.)
