To make it easier to find products by description, the search will include all matching items regardless of the case of characters entered in the value field; for example, if a Containing search was done for ‘Pepsi’, all items with a description that contains ‘PEPSI’, ‘Pepsi’, ‘pepsi’ and any other permutation will be displayed in the list. This also makes it easier to find items by not requiring that the search be typed in upper-case if the descriptions are entered as such in the product file.
