About JC
Hello, I’m James—a dedicated professional with nearly two decades of experience in the pharmacy and point-of-sale (POS) industry. Since beginning my career in 2006, I’ve developed a strong foundation in both technical support and team leadership, most notably during my 12 years with Health Business Systems (HBS).
At HBS, I progressed from Lead Technician to Supervisor within the POS division, eventually expanding into a supervisory role in the hardware department. In this capacity, I supported both POS systems and pharmacy management platforms, along with their associated hardware. My experience includes integrating complex systems such as robotics, IVR solutions, and POS platforms like RMS with pharmacy management software—giving me deep insight into system interoperability and real-world troubleshooting.
I take pride in building strong, trust-based client relationships and delivering effective, practical solutions. My approach is rooted in creativity and persistence—much like building with LEGO, where sometimes stepping back and rebuilding leads to the best outcome.
Outside of work, I’m an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of PennLUG. As the group’s Webmaster and Technology Lead, I manage our digital presence and support our community initiatives. Our club frequently showcases creations at events such as America on Wheels in Allentown, PA. At home, I maintain a personal LEGO city layout featuring multiple themes and designs.
Family plays a central role in my life. My wife, an IT Administrator, and I share a strong passion for technology and problem-solving. Together, we’re raising two amazing kids—our son (born 2012), who enjoys video games and basketball, and our daughter (born 2014), who loves soccer, basketball, and getting creative with slime.
We also love traveling as a family, especially to Walt Disney World—Batuu at Hollywood Studios is a favorite destination. More recently, we’ve been enjoying trips to Great Wolf Lodge as well. Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue exploring new places and creating meaningful experiences with my family, both across the U.S. and beyond.
